SISTERS aims to reduce food loss and waste in the main stages of the food value chain in Europe, through innovations aimed at each link in the value chain<\/p>\n

With the support of the European Commission, SISTERS will be a key EU project that will address the problem comprehensively, reducing FLW by 27.4% and CO2 emissions by around 20%.<\/p>\n

THE REAL\/Riberebro<\/strong> aims to technically define the needs of the fresh product value chain in order to maximize its efficiency. To this end, it will validate the different applications, technologies and materials developed throughout the Sister’s project in each of the links in the value chain. Its company AYECUE<\/strong>, specialized in the production and distribution of fresh mushrooms, will be in charge of carrying out the different tests included in the program, thanks to its participation in each and every one of the phases of the fresh product value chain, and its complete traceability from cultivation to distribution. <\/p>\n

The project began in November 2021, will last four years and brings together 18 partners from eight European countries.<\/p>\n
